Go away germs!!!!!!!!

Urgh is it spring/summer yet????? I am taking Izzy back to the doctor today, this will be the 3rd week in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have had 2 bouts of pink eye in the last 2 weeks and a constant runny nose and now we have a nasty cold with green gunk coming out of her nose and makes her cough at night! Of course DH is out of town and last night was horrible. Izzy was up at 1:15 coughing because she was so stuffed up and it took more than 2 hours and every trick I know to get her to go back to sleep! So I think she finally went back to sleep sometime after 3 (or at least i finally fell asleep) only to be up again at 6:15! I am exhausted! I decided to call the dr and take her to to see if maybe she has a sinus infection that is sure what her snot looks like (sorry if TMI) or if it is an ear infection that is keeping her from sleeping. She is in a good mood when she is up and running around (and I do mean that literally, she is everywhere! )

I am so sick of winter, sick of snow and sick of a sick baby!!!! We are going to florida next week for a long weekend to visit my little brother and so DH can visit with clients and I can't wait!!! Even though i am really dreading the 3 hr plane ride with little miss i don't sit still, it will be worth it. I was watching Jon & Kate plus 8 the other night and they took all 8 (2 7yr olds and 6 3yrolds) to Utah and their flight was re routed and so delayed and all the kids were crying and restless even the mom broke down, so it did make me feel a little better that hey it could be worse! I will just have to remember that when I am on the plane and izzy is screaming because she doesn't want to sit still!!!!

Workout progress

We are in week 6 of my workout program and I am doing great. I have lost 8 lbs and more importantly 4.4% body fat!!! I feel great and am loving this program. I am already not looking forward to when it is over because then I am going to have to figure out where to join and it won't be free!

We are leaving tomorrow to go skiing for the weekend and I CAN"T WAIT. We are taking Izzy to DH's parents for the whole weekend and heading up north with our neighbors who are so much fun. I am sure my nutrition will take a bit of a hit this weekend but oh well!

We are going to download Izzy's walking tonight from teh video camera so I will post it as soon as I can.

Walking Fool

Well I would say officially Izzy is a walker!!!! She has been a walking fool the last 2 days, walking everywhere. She still fall down but she sure is walking a lot more. We took her today to get fitted for her first official pair of shoes! Up until now we have been big fans of the Robeez. We went to StrideRite. We let her wear the shoes out of the store and when she first had them on she had trouble walking but by the time we got home from the mall she had it down. She walked all the way down the hallway to her room!

Man I think we spent more on those one pair of shoes for her than I spend on my self a lot of the time but I know it is worth it to by the good shoes.

Here they are. Not the cutest they had in the whole store but the cutest of the first walker shoes, and the cutest they had in wides...she has a fat/thick foot so she has to wear wides.

How cute is Izzy dressed in her valentines day outfit! I added a bow to the hair after I took this picture. The birthparents sent her this outfit for her birthday! And the tights are from her friend Temperance, they are acutally not tights they are these cool things called notsocks. They are like leg warmers.

Walking on her own........sorta

Well two days ago, after her afternoon nap Izzy decided she was going to start walking!!!!! She would let go of whatever she was holding and just go for it!!! She will take as many as 10-15 steps before getting where she wants to go or falling down. We have it on video but I don't know how to download it. I will get DH to do it and then I will post it.

It is just so amazing to watch the changes day to day. Lately it seems like just about everyday she is doing something new. I know she will be running around before I know it......she can take her time, because I am not looking forward to having to try to catch her :)

Winter Fun

We took Izzy outside for some winter fun today. She was not going for the sledding today, not happy about it at all! She had a great time on her swing though!!! It was a perfect day for it today not too cold!!!

1 yr Check Up

We just got back from the Dr for Izzy's one year check up. She is perfect, Dr couldn't find anything wrong with her.

She weighed 22lbs 2 oz and was 30 1/4" long. She got two shots poor kid but she took them like a champ!
