Today is such a rainy, windy, chilly, yucky day! It has been raining and gray all morning. My satellite tv doesn't work and Izzy is a little grumpy. I think her gums might be bothering her, because she seems happiest with something to chew on, particularly a frozen damp wash cloth. I don't see or feel any teeth yet, but I guess that doesn't mean she isn't teethy. Poor thing, it has to hurt.
I don't think Izzy and I will be going outside today because it is just so yucky. It is hard to believe it is august when it is rainy, windy and in the 50's!
Well we leave for TX on Friday!!! I am so excited, anxious and a little nervous at the same time. I spoke with the birth mom and birth dad last week and they are just so excited to see our girl! I am sure it will be a little akward for us all but i think it will be just great for everyone. I think it will help them to see in person what a happy healthy little girl she is and how much love we have for her. We are going to spend the day with them on Saturday. We still haven't figured out what we are going to do with them, probably will depend on teh weather. One idea DH and I had was to take them to Sea World because we know the Birth mom likes it...but if it is over 90 degrees then we probably won't do that. Any ideas? Our court date is a week from today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then she will offically be ours forever!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! What a big day GOTCHA DAY is !!!
My friend Jen has completed the DVD of pictures and video set to music we are going to give the birthparents. I saw it in a semi finished state and it made me cry so I can' imagine how I will feel watching the completed project. I have a feeling it will make the birth family cry too but my hope is that it is a good cry. There were so many pictures and video that I needed three songs. I chose first "Ordinary Miracle" by Sarah McClaughlin it is from the movie Charolette's Web. A beautiful song! Then I chose a song off of her Isabelle CD. It is a song of lullabies that her name was put in. The song I chose was "One in a Million" It is a nice song and it has her name in it. Then the last song is the "My Wish" song I posted about previously. Jen did a really nice job blending it all together. I can't wait to see it. She said all she had to do is print the label, it should be ready today. Going to her house would be worth braving the weather so hopefully she will let me know it is done and maybe I can get it today.
Here is my new favorite picture of the 2 loves of my life

I think Temperance is in the same "teething" boat as Izzy! Can't feel anything yet, but she always wants to gnaw on everything. She's also been a little cranky lately!
Best wishes this coming weekend and on Gotcha Day! I'm so excited for all of you!!!
