I am giving a huge kudos to all the single moms out there!!! I don't know how you do it! DH has been out of town since yesterday so I am on my own until tomorrow night. I will tell you what, i am exhausted!!!! Dinner, and bathtime and bedtime, and dishes and trash day etc is a whole lot all by myself!!!! One more night of dinner, bathtime, bedtime dh should be home by 7 tomorrow. Thank goodness my darling izzy is a good sleeper at night time anywhere from 11-12 hours , thank god for that. I am also missing dh in the mornings because i have a wonderful husband who gets up with Izzy every morning and gives her her morning bottle and changes her before he goes to work so I stay in bed until he has to leave which sometimes is as late as 7:30!!!
I have enjoyed a little me time in the evening though after izzy went to bed last night, i talked to some friends on teh phone and a indulged in my guilty pleasure...........Grey's Anatomy! I am an addict, yesterday i bougth season 3 on dvd even though i have seen them all. Last night i watched 2 episodes while enjoying a nice glass of red wine (or two :) ) My plans for tonight, after i take out teh trash and eat some dinner is to repeat last night and I think a friend is coming over to join me.
This may sound terrible but there is a part of me that enjoys dh being gone a night or two every once in a while...i can control the tv and go to bed as early as i want :) I am sure i will be more than ready to have him back by tomorrow night!!!

I get you....sometimes you just want your me time.
I so know what you mean! My husband teaches a college class two nights a week, and I do sort of look forward to getting to eat what I want and watch my girlie shows on tv:) BUT, I do miss the help with Lily! :)
