We had our first post placement visit with our social worker today. All went well of course. She is such a nice lady and has 2 adopted boys with semi-open arrangements so she understands what it is like to be us. We have one more to do but that can't be done until after 5 months according to Texas law. So we set teh date for June 28th. I am supposed to call our agency at the end of May to schedule the finalization court date in Texas. We are almost half way there!!!!
It is such a beautiful day out today! I have been outside doing a little reading, when Izzy will let me of course. It must be close to 70 degrees out and sunny! Right now she is napping in her crib, and she is not allowed to get up for at least another half hour! We have been battling a little for naps during the day. Oh she is crying, gotta go put in the binky..........okay I am back. Daddy is working from home today too since he had to stay home for our meeting with the social worker so that is a nice change of pace also!
