Happy Easter! And Happy Passover!I hope everyone had a wonderful week! We had a pretty good week, it started a little rough, but ended well for the most part.
Early this week we went to my aunt and uncles for Izzy's first sedar...well lets just say she is not ready to be out of hte house during her colicky time between about 6 and 8. It was lets just say a disaster...she pretty much screamed the whole time.......but oh well, I warned them.
Then on Tuesday I finally called the doctor because she had just not been eating well for a couple weeks, writhing all around and most bottles only eat 2-2.5 ounces when she can eat 4 , so the doctor prescribed Zantac for reflux, even though she doesn't spit up excessively I guess it can still bother her and one of the signs is she arches her back. So we started the medicine on Tuesday afternoon. Well she HATES the taste of it so getting her to take it is quite tricky. We finally figured out this weekend it works best when mixed with 1 oz of formula. But even though she wasn't getting it all, it seem to make a huge difference! Now it could be coincedence, but Thurs thru Sunday morning were her best days yet, FINALLY smilling a lot more and talking more, and eating SOO much better!
For easter we went to church with DH's family and the back to my mother in laws for brunch. Izzy was very good at Church, she ate just before the service and then pretty much slept. She was also pretty good and Grandma and Grandpa, the only problem was she didn't sleep much with all the excitement...which turned out to make a very unhappy girl last night...but what can you do. We learned our lessons, she can miss one nap but 2, just can't happen and she just does not sleep good away from home...she likes her swing during the day.
The easter grandma/grandpa bunny was very good to her. She got a great swing for outside when she gets a little bigger and she got a tummy time mat. She also got some new dresses.

SO beautiful!:) Happy Easter to you and your gorgeous family!
So cute, I love her Easter dress. I am glad the reflux med is helping some. My niece had to use Enfamil A/R, that was about the only thing that worked for her reflux...
Lani, can you email me? (I am trying to figure out how to email you...) mikeandlizadopt @ yahoo.com
Thanks!
Seders are soooo long! Even for us adults. Poor baby - Poor Mama!
