Okay so I know that the economy is terrible and so many people are out of work but I have to say up until yesterday, I didn't really apply it to "my world" I am trying to stay positive amoungst all the negative talk on ever single media channel. My job is thankfully secure seeing that I work for my dad, it is part time and his company is thriving. That being said I dont' exactly make very much money. DH has been with his company for over 10 years, and is actually part owner, (4%) There are 3 other main owners. While I know that his job is for the most part is secure as he would probably be one of the last ones they let go, it was a real wake up call for me when he said yesterday that they are making all teh admins go to 4 days a week starting next week!!!
These really are very scary times and I need to be a bit more concious of that , but without it putting me in a total depression. We are very fortunate to have what we have and live the lifestyle we live. It does however make it that much more real that Izzy will probably be the only child we have and this truely does sadden me.
I think I needed that little wake up call to make me a bit more concious of the state of things. I hope they start improving soon...............
