Okay so this morning we redid part of our fitness testing...sit ups, push-ups and plank. The rest we will be doing on Wednesday (30 min endurance test, body fat and weight)
Here are the results, I improved in all teh area so i was very pleased
Push Ups-- Beginining of class 7, today 10 (not too bad, seeing that I am terrible at these it was nice to see a little improvement
Sit Ups (as many as we can in 30 sec) Beginning-20, today 25
Plank (hold it as long as we can) Beginning 1 min 25 sec, today 2min 10sec (i beat everyone in my class....but there were only 5 of us today)
I am really anxious for the endurance test, how long we can go in 30 mins....I still haven't been doing much running but I am hoping this has gotten better. I think we are going to do it as a group on Wednesday so I am sure that will help me go farther.
Oh, and I forgot to comment...last friday I signed up to do my first 5k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is March 21st!!!!!! I don't know if I will be able to run the whole thing (probably not) but I am excited to do it and do as well as I can.

Keep up the good work! You are doing so great. And you will have no problem with a 5K. Just get on the treadmill a few days a week and add another few minutes each time to your run. So if you can run for 5 minutes straight right now (as an example), next time makes yourself run for 7 minutes straight. You will be amazed at how quickly your endurance builds up. Just at the beginning of January I struggled with 3 miles, and this past Saturday I ran 8 miles (even though I struggled).
